It is a long way - it is very very flat for 99% of the way - just a little up and down hill as you leave Dookie. It will test your endurance, your mind and certainly your arse, feet and hands. This event is not for the light hearted, it is for the strong the tough and the very silly with out question. It is for 18years plus as you get a free beer at the end. If you run as a solo runner then you will not just push a wheelbarrow all the way alone, but your mind will also be pushed to make atop the end. If you are running as a doubles team suggest you are good mates first up, as by the end of 30ks you may not be. If you are in teams of 10 or 12 then you can always blame others for not getting across the finishing line.
Saying all of the above I can only say when you head off on this 30k event just think of those sitting at home in a hospitals not even able to walk the the front gate or sit up - these people are waiting for a organ or tissue transplant and the only way they get it if we make the community are of this and this event will achieve this by far.
Many brave people are waiting for their second chance in life, what are you waiting for, sign up and be a Zaidee's Barrow Star by taking on the event.
